you have not mentioned your age.presuming you are above 18 years, my advice is to approach a hypnotherapist. he/she will give you some suggestions to you and you will get aversion to watch tv.or you consult a behavior modification expert. your problem be solved.if you are under 18, show this answer to your parents. concentrate on your studies baby, you can watch tv after the examinations are over. you do not know perhaps, most of the actors are well educated people, and they did not neglect their studies.

Stop watching TV. Have a little willpower and dedication. If you truly want to be successful, you will learn to sacrifice what you love. Think of it this way--once you graduate, you will never need to worry about studying again. You can go home and enjoy watching a high definition or plasma TV (courtesy of a college education). I must admit: I love TV also. When I first started college, I had somewhat of the same problem, but after one semester passed, I realized that I needed to make a decision as to what was most important to me. Please, try to think of the end result of your studies rather than how much of an inconvenience it is. If you must, write out a list. Is it really the TV that makes you get away from your studies, or is there another reason you stray away from them?

It must be not so hard just cut the TV off and study and later you can watch TV again. What are you doing you need to leave out the house? Are you taking the TV with you?

Don't turn the TV on until you have completed studying for the day. You can always tape the shows you love, and watch them at a later time. If you can't tape them, have someone else tape them for you. Then you'll have a whole lot to watch when the exams are through.
Good luck.

It's called will power and self-control. Everybody would rather veg out in front of the TV than do homework, but most people realize that it won't get done on it's own. What kind of answer do you expect people to give here? The only thing you can do is force yourself to stop being so lazy and get something done for once.
........or just fail, drop out and work at Burger King and get pregnant by some guy named Chubby that has six fingers on one hand..............lol

The solution is simple. Make a pact with yourself that you will watch NO TV until you finish your studies. Education is important, you can't get much of a job without it. There will be plenty of time for goofing off and watching tv later.

You need to learn to understand that your life is more important than watching T.V. My uncles best friend would always say, only ignorant people watch T.V. It is not a fact, but that kind of helped me to not like watching T.V. as much. It is addicting I will say, I don't have, cable or an antenna for my T.V.'s in the house, we rent movies, because T.V. is evil. It just takes time away from your responsibilities and half the stuff is just negative junk.

Uhh...this is all about will power.
Just turn off the TV. Unless of course, you feel like getting kicked out of school for failing. Then you'll have all the time in the world to sit around and watch TV....until your parents kick you out of course, and then you'll need to get a crap job, since you dropped out of school, and in order to pay all of your bills, you have to work all the time and won't have time to watch TV.
So here's the gist of my statement: TURN OFF THE TV, STUDY AND DO WELL SO YOU DON'T HAVE A CRAP *** JOB. Think in terms of the big picture.
Good luck...NOW GET OFF THE COMPUTER AND START STUDYING DAMNIT!
