I mean no one has ever seen heaven, and no one has ever seen God.

What is the point of life?

Why do people go to Church?

I am nervous and I worry about death. I am scared of death,. I keep on feeling that I am going to die at the age of 21. And I am 21 years old.

Because people do not like the idea that once they die they will just rot in the ground. People need to tell themselves that they are going to a "better place"

It's natural to reach a point in your life where you realise just what it actually means to die. Don't worry about it. I think everybody deals with it differently - many can't accept that death is the ultimate unknown and cling to anything they can.

For myself, I've come to accept that death might be the end of me, or it might not. Nobodoy knows. Because of that though, I live by a few 'personal truths':

* I live my own life and try to always be true and honest with myself. For a long time, I was a people-pleaser, but it just doesn't work. If this is the only existence I'm to have, it will be on my terms.
* I will leave this world a better place than I found it. My life needs to have been worthwhile, or it will have meant nothing, whether I reincarnate, go to heaven or just stop being.
* I choose not to judge, and try to smile every day. If this is my only life, then it should be filled with happiness and kindness and love. I don't do this for others, but for my own wellbeing. If my days were filled only with anger and sadness, it wouldn't be worth living anyway.

The only advice I can think to give, is that you must find your own truths, things you can believe in without having to resort to a holy book OR a scientific theorem. Both those things are interesting and I spend an inordinate amount of time on both, but unless you are happy, what's the point?

Some believe that because they do not believe Matthew 5:5; Psalm 37:9-11, 29; or Provrerbs 2:21, 22.

They also do not accept supporting Scriptures such as Isaiah 11:6-9; 35:1-10; Revelation 21:3-5, where we see the wonderful conditions that are soon to prevail on the earth..

They also do not believe that the earth will never be destroyed, as seen from Ecclesiastes 1:4. Also note Isaiah 45:18, where Jehovah clearly stated he created the earth to be inhabited.

well everyone has to go through it at some point some people go more pleasantly then others. there is no point in thinking that your gonna die soon. just live the life you have to the full and do good with it. there is no real point in life just life if that makes any sense to you. people go to church for hope and comfort it sounds better believing that there is a place after death and some where, where we will see all our love ones are again that we have lost. i am scared of living a life a lone after my partner has gone and him finding someone else in the other place if there is an other world.

faith is believing in something you can't see.

the point of life is to have a relationship w/ God & to serve Him by serving/ministering to the needs of others

the most important reasons for going to church is to learn about God & His Word, the Bible & to fellowship w/ other believers

I have been a Christian since I was 7 years old & I do not fear death---to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord

Jesus loves you, He died for you. If you accept Him as your Savior, you won't have to be afraid to die. Death is only a doorway into eternity.

The point of life is living it and not wasting it worrying and speculating about what may or may not happen when it's over. Death happens to everything on this planet and you have to grow up and come to terms with it, or it will mess you up psychologically, as you seem to have discovered. You can't control it, so accept it. Don't fear death, love life.

Your right. No one ever has seen God because He is Holy. Holiness and sin cannot coexist. Therefore God became one of us as Jesus Christ and became sin for us. He suffered for our sins on the cross and defeated death through resurrection. If you repent of your sins and trust Jesus to save you then you can spend eternity with God in Heaven. Jesus is the perfect sacrifice for sin for He knew no sin and fulfilled all Old Testament prophesy concerning his birth, death, and resurrection.

Have faith. Jesus is God and loves you very much. That is why He died in your place so that you could live. Jesus fulfilled 30 specific prophesies from the Old Testament concerning his birth, death and resurrection. That is the same as you flipping a quarter and having it land 'heads' 30 times consecutively. This possibility is 1in a billion. Jesus is God. Have faith. He wants to save you, but you must repent of your sins and trust Him alone for salvation.

Because they believe in the Bible.

And the Bible tells that to them.

And they believe in the Bible because the Bible says that it's god word.

A completely circular arguments but as the song says...

But why would you be worried of dieing at 21?

Whatever get's you through the night, It's Alright, It's Alright

No the Bible often refers to a paradise Earth without wickedness when Satan and all wickedness are destroyed.
God had originally purposed the Earth to be an Eden all over and his intentions will be fulfilled.
The Earth will be under heavenly rule with Jesus as King over the entire Earth and 144,000 other heavenly co rulers.
God did not purpose the Earth to be destroyed as he promised the meek will inherit the Earth (Psalm 37:11).

Honestly, it isn't about the Dying, it is about Living. Dying will take care of itself. Live each day doing the best you can for your self, your loved ones and strangers. Be fascinated with every new thing you learn, and don't judge others so harshly. Treat others like you want them to treat you, and treat the Earth as if it is the last ride available.....

Good Luck & Blessings
