In general, what you believe and do in your own home makes no difference to me, but it does make me sad to see someone living with false hope and following the misinformation given to them by religious leaders who they trust. I just feel bad for people living as if this elaborate fairytale is true. I especially feel bad for those in cult like communities who must follow blindly. People really believed in and trusted Jim Jones and he led them to mass suicide (or possibly homicide). But that is an extreme example.
This whole culture of not believing in scientific observations really disturbs me. Every single inhabitant of this planet has to contribute and you just can't contribute when you are so ignorant of the way the world around you functions. On top of that, most people take their religious beliefs outside of their own home and begin to bleed them into the lives of others. That I have a big problem with.
So, I guess that's why I care. I mean, basically, it's because I care about people and hate to see them misled and oppressed.

Some religions believe that everyone must convert. I guess they win a prize if the whole planet believes, or something. The followers use this as an excuse to annoy and harass, under the guise of "spreading the truth" or "saving souls."
Their Bible tells them it's a "good" thing to harass and annoy as many people as possible, even after we tell them we don't want what they're offering. They're like telemarketers who won't stop calling. Sadly, I think some of them actually believe they're doing a good thing.

It does not matter to me! I am a balancing act of different faiths and beliefs so for me to say it matters what you believe would be wrong!! You are important to me as a person, should we be friends, and how you live would be more of a concern than your faith and belief. Living your life to help others and avoid harming those around you is a factor that plays with me! Not weather you are a Christian or not! I know plenty of Christians that profess but do not act, and I know plenty who act but refuse to profess (brag).
This is key to a relationship with me!
Good luck
Blessed Be

It really doesn't matter at all. The principles are basically the same. Love and respect your fellow man. Don't lie, don't steal, don't commit adultry. Religion is a guide book on how to be a good person. The minor rules are different but the message is the same. Behave yourself and treat others with respect.

What matters to me as a christian, is doing what Jesus told me to do in the Bible. It the great commission of all christians. To go out and witness to the glory of God and to offer salvation to all I meet. That is not an order to shove it down someone's throat or to pressure anyone into believing as I do. That is not salvation, it is pretending something in order to get someone to leave you alone. It is in the offering that I am being obedient to God. Not in someone accepting what I offer. What that person decides to do is entirely up to them. It saddens me as christian when others do not understand the happiness I have found in Christ, but I will never stop caring for that person, nor would I denegrate that person in any way for not believing as I do. Isn't it wonderful that God gave us all the ability to choose for ourselves?

It doesn't matter one bit to me. Don't try to shove it down my throat and we're cool.
On the flip side, some of the Christians here are here to spread lies and mistruths (primarily about Creationism being true and all the hundreds of errors in evolution that somehow no one but Fundy Christians seem to see...) and do so with hate and vigor, trying to shove it down everyone's throat. Them, I'm not cool.
If your beliefs serve you well, more power to ya'.

It matters the same way it would matter to me if a person were walking on a dark path that led to a deep pit filled with poisonous snakes ; which person was doomed to fall in unless that I did my best to warn him or her... its called love....
