whatever you're happy in. i wear shorts and t shirt/vest in most weather. there's nothing worse than being out in the rain with a sweatshirt and thick bottoms on when they end up weighing about two stone. don't think there's any health reason

Hi the 2 things you should wear is a hat especially covering the ears and gloves these are the areas where heat loss will occur the most yep they are exposed, other than that you wear what is comfortable, it really is no good listening to others, as it really is down to personal choice , remember you can always take something off if you become too hot maybe you should vary it on distance weather conditions etc check out the wind speed and direction they should be 2 good indicators

Really, it's all personal preference. Where I live, we sometimes get more snow than Alaska (and never get snow days, by the way...sorry, long grudge on my mind right now with the superintendent...) and I'll go running in shorts and a hoodie with some gloves. If you're the type of person who gets injured and often has to walk home, I'd suggest a bit more clothes than this. As for other people...sometimes they're just crazier than you are, or aren't going as fast (haha) and don't build up as much sweat as you do. It's just whatever you feel comfortable in. Stay warm!

I was in shorts and long sleeved shirt last night and after 20 minutes felt hot. I did have a hat on and wished I had some gloves but us runners are made of tough stuff aren't we?
I think that as long as you are comfortable and sensible about what your body is telling you, i.e. if you feel too cold to exercise, maybe you do need to wrap up. After all we are all different.
Enjoy your running.

I think you should a little more, maybe a waterproof jacket.
I think that wearing more clothes is a safety precaution because you may be warm enough while you are running but if you had to stop then you would get very cold. For example if you tripped and hurt yourself and had to limp home.

warm up first before you go out, mabe take a hat with you, loft insulation and all that.If you not used to wearing a hat you will prob. feel hot,but if you get injured and have to walk back the hat could prevent you from getting too cold

When in doubt, i like to check out Runners World "What to Wear". You type in the temperature, wind speed, and weather conditions and what temp. you like to feel when you run (warm, in-between, or cool) and it shows you articles of clothing to wear. It's a pretty neat tool.

You should be fine. Just remember to warm up before hand and don't take breaks so you won't get cold!

Wear whatever works for you. I would recommend you not wear so much that you sweat. That could lead to problems. Otherwise, as long as you are comfortable, you are okay.
