For one thing, you sound like you are too young to be tied down to one person forever. If he acts weird toward you at times, he is probably not completely sure of his feelings for you(good or bad). I know it's hard, but just hang back a bit, try not to cling, and if he straightens up, then you know he cares. If he doesn't change his ways, you are better off without him.

you should talk to him and let him know how you feel if he doesnt do anything about it then he doesnt love you then you know there is someone out there that can treat you better
