Well, I always believe the words of pastors. I also believe that Jesus can do anything. But the Bible said that Jesus rode a donkey to Jerusalem. No pastor in the world said that Jesus rode a T-Rex, and neither did the Bible. So I consider reading the Bible.

Your pastor is pulling your leg. Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the lowly little donkey. That is the way of Jesus, he uses those of lowly stature that the world would pass by as unimportant. Doesn't that sound like the God we should love. He doesn't by pass the little guys just for the flashy rich and mighty.

Was he joking?

No, Jesus walked everywhere, traveled in a boat a couple of times and entered triumphantly into Jerusalem just before He would go to the cross.

I thought he teleported there while listening to T-Rex on his iPod.

I've also heard that Jesus has glass balls with gold fish swimming around in 'em, complete with a little castle and a diving man.

What does the Bible say??? I'd believe the Bible over the pastor.

(Assuming you actually have a pastor...) your pastor either did not tell you that, was joking with you, or is horribly, horribly misinformed. I will choose the former for my guess.
