First off im 24 and he's 28. Second, I am not desperate by any means and find it odd that people assume that. I didn't expect to meet some guy offline, and the things we have in common are a rarity to me. I work in Audio Production and I love his understanding of music. He wants to leave his girlfriend but just doesnt seem to have the ba**s to do so. He said it feels like she would kill herself if he left her. What I want to know is why is he talking to me more than her first of all. Second, why do we stare at each other? And no distance isn't the issue I'm just not getting involved with someone who has a gf. I have more respect for myself than that. I just don't know how to describe all this...

IF he wants to leave his g/friend but is scared she will do something to harm herself.....He needs to get his g/friend help. Perhaps he's all nice with you because you're like a breath of fresh air* Obviously he's not happy in his relationship..key word there"happy" so talking to you, laughing...smiling....just admiring you may take his mind off his problems with his g/friend.
You are right NOT to get involved with him while he's seeing someone else. I'm glad you Respect yourself ~
No harm in having a "friend" tho..to talk with online but until he no longer has a g/friend.......see where you are at that point in time..., I would just move on without him~ Be a friend* but advise him that he should take his g/friend to counselling if he thinks she'll kill herself if he left her....that's manipulation! Putting the guilt on him that if he leaves she'll end her life> NO ONE should have to live that way...He should also enquire about counselling to realize that* GOODLUCK

i think that all that gf would kil herself if he leaves her it's not true, u like him and you seem to have something in common, but just step away until he can leave his gf. it seem you have good common sense
