Man, I feel you...when this happens to me I like to breath very deeply and slowly, slow my thoughts (think of something else / look at something and analyze it / don't think about anything), then I get up and WALK OUT THE DOOR and move. This gets you exercise and sun light, both vital for your mental health. If that doesn't help go to your doctor or therapist and tell them what's going on, it may be your meds. Good luck!

Lexapro is supposed to help with anxiety, but it takes two weeks for that to kick in. I take Lorazepam for the anxiety attacks in addition to the Lexapro. It REALLY helps.

If you have been on Lexapro longer than a few weeks and you are still having such strong panic attacks, Lexapro is not the right medicine for you. Talk to your doctor.

Do the G force exercise. Fighter Pilots do this exercise to support high G-Forces during high speed turns and accelarations.

I found out it's also very good against panic attacks and anxiety.

Xanax is a relaxing med. for anxiety. It has done wonders for me. I also had that problem for a long time & didn't know what was causing it. There are other meds also for that. Lexapro is more for depression.

Going to your physician is an excellent idea. If you want to try to wait for this visit - try breathing exercises. Deep breath thru the nose - exhale thru the mouth - slowly - about 10 times
Try also thinking of a pleasent thought - Helps me alot

These are panic/anxiety attacks. You need to go back to your doc and get help for these. He may prescribe some medications to use when you get these attacks and he may recommned trying some meditation etc. See your doc and get some treatment for them though.
