I happen to be agnostic, but I don't by any means mean to attack anyone for their beliefs. However, when I feel like someone is forcing their beliefs on me, I get offended and angry and think that they need to be put in their place. I am not trying to tell you that God doesn't exist, so please stop insisting that I should believe he does. I have my beliefs, you have yours, why can't we just say "to each his own" and try to live happily in peace together and love eachother despite out imperfections?
To be honest with you, I think Christianity is a good idea. When I was Christian, I was happy and felt loved, but things happened and I lost my faith. And no matter how hard I try, I can't get it back and it even depresses me. But I think that having something to believe in is a great thing and more power to you, but if others don't see the light as you do, you should not be so quick to condem them. They probably have their reasons just as you have yours for being a Christian.

It should be the way it is. As an athiest, I HATE people who preach to me, but I don't preach to Christians.
I think everyone would be much happier if the Christians complained about the athiests among themselves and didn't try to convert the athiests and if the athiests complained about the Christians among themselves and didn't try to convert the Christians.

That simple.

EDIT:::::
Nani: Preaching about the bible IS attacking. Most athiests have explored most, if not all, religions and have decided that there is no god or higher power or authority. We have made an educated decision and that will not change. I went to a Catholic school. Preaching about the bible will only annoy me because I can probably quote more from it than you can.

I'm just thankful that Christians stopped burning us at the stake years ago.

Now if we can just get them to get over their holier than thou self righteous moral agenda... we might all be A OK.

Never understand the Christian stance that one must believe in god to be a moral person.

After a few centuries of living in fear and finally getting to a point where we can take public defense... maybe it's about time the tables are turned and Atheists attack the Christians... not like we are going to hunt them down in some post modern inquisition. Just challenge them about their beliefs.

Well this is what I think. True atheists and christians do not *bash* each other. We may have heated discussions about varying topics and we may poke fun at each other. But the real bashing is done mostly by trolls trying to cause trouble. JMO

That'd be a bonus for Christians. Their attacks on atheism are no where near as scathing and hostile as atheist attacks on Christianity. I think we should just continue as we are until Christianity is finally ground down.

Then both Christians and Atheist will have nothing to do.

Then it would be easier to find legitimate questions in YA. It would be nice for the questioners to be able to read actual answers too, not a bunch of "there's no god" or "you're going to hell" nonsense. All both sides do is take up space and annoy everyone.

god is in your mind..Its funny how most people that believe in god or the bible usually know less than I do about the subject. I've noticed atheists are generally more apt to do research, as opposed to christians that only read a book full of inconsistancies and rasicm. And most atheists are usually smarter people in general.

I do not harass Atheists, unless telling them the truth about the Bible is considered harassment.
