Ummm, to the other comments, what does Jealously have to do anything, They are call two different names because they are two different methods. Hair Weaving is weaving as in sewing, and sewing is not suitable for all white females because of the texture of their hair, Thats why they just get hair extensions, by infusing it with their own hair. So white girls above, get over yourself cause it is not that serious.

Because they may have thin or slow growing hair. I once had a horrible hair cut and got extensions done so I didn't have to live with the horrible cut. I liked them and the flexibility they offered in a very dramatic change for no more than a high end salon styling. They are also a terrific option for a wedding or major party where you want an updo but don't have time to grow your own hair. There are lots of reasons people choose extensions, these are just a few.

well white ppl kno that blacks were the first to even use weave and i guess they feel that they have to do it too. but i guess hair extenions is just another fancy word that they use so that they wont have to sound all ghetto. and with the whole hair growin faster thing..look at it this way....their hair is dry or too oily either way they get lice and black ppl dont. y??? cos we kno how too take care of our hair we dont wash it erry day like they do...and plus we like to look cute and they dont soo dont stress ok?

everyones hair grows the same rate, honey. Plus people have the freedom to have their hair anyway they want it....no big deal....get over it, honey.
