I'd like to give a unique gift that sort of represents something, like love or friendship. Just not a gift that they registered for. That's no fun. Please help!

When my best friend got married, I made a scrapbook for them. I put all kinds of pictures in it, there wedding invitation, bridal shower invitation, etc. They loved it!

Take pictures of their wedding that the photographer probrably won't catch. I don't mean like the couple cutting the cake, that's cliche. Maybe when they're having the first dance or something, and the inside of the church before she walks down the aisle. Pictures that not everyone might want to take. Also you could get a blank book or some papers and get the guests to write a "good luck" note to the couple and make a book out of it for them.

Well, I'm in the process of sewing my brother a quilt (but then, I do that). It's got a huge heart in the center. Here's a picture of the book that I'm using, the quilt's on the cover. Of course, my fabrics are a little different, but you get the idea.

you can either 1. get a really nice frame and frame their wedding inviatation. or 2. make a shadow box of all the things from their wedding, like confetti, napkins, wine cork, different things that make there day special

For my sister's wedding our cousin gave her a gorgeous, intricate candle with the invitation encased in the front. Absolutely gorgeous and she still has it.
