You just bring in your prescription bottle. It's fine. It's more the illegal/illegally obtained drugs that they are worried about. Usually, they do a 5 panel test. That includes:
Opiates, Cocaine, Amphetamine, Marijuana (THC) and Methamphetamine.
As long as you have a doctor's prescription, you'll be fine.

You should tell them about the medication. As long as its been legally prescribed to you for a condition, and you can provide them with a contact number to your doctor as well as present the bottle at the time of your urinalysis. If you tell them you only use the medication to help you when the pain is making it hard for you to sleep and that you do not operate a vehicle if you intend to use this medication, you shouldn't have a problem. As with all things, your body builds a tolerance to things and if you've been taking them awhile it will probably have lost its drowsy side effect on you. Honesty is always the best policy in drug tests.

No be up front with the person giving your test and show your legal prescription bottle or a note from your doc saying you are on this med and what for. To get a note from your doc just call his office and talk to his nurse and explain what is going on and that you would like a note saying what you are taking and why. She can have the doc write this up and you can go pick it up later in the day. Trying to hide legal drugs is not a good idea.

Take in the prescription bottle showing that you are legally on the medication. That way they will still talk to you when it shows up. Then when you interview for the job they will probably make sure you can pass the "drunk tests" which will prove that you are not being influenced by the medication.
BTW it is Wed there is no way to detox by Fri now!

Take the test, don't do the detox, and bring the prescription or meds with you to the interview. List them on the job application also. Be specific on the drug names too, don't just say "I take pain killers that my doctor gave me".
If the tests can show that you did some sort of detox program, they may wonder what else you're trying to hide from them.

If the test comes back positive, you will be given the opportunity to provied prescribed medications you are on to explain. Prescription drugs are legal therefore not considered a negative UA. However your prospective employer may not like the idea of you driving a vehicle with any sort of medication.

Be honest with the situation.
Bring a list of the drugs you take, or the drugs in their containers from your pharmacy to the test and have the technician note this in your file. If there is really a problem, have the prescribing doctor write a letter detailing what each drug is for, and why you have to take it.
Good luck

Most of the employers who ask for a UA test also have questionnaires that ask if you take regular prescription medications. Put the meds you take down on the application. You should have no trouble.

Sorry Charlie, there is no such thing as "detox" to clear for a drug test. Also pain killers, while they maybe prescription, are dangerous to drive with. To much liability for the employer.
