My boyrfiend and I have our own relationship issues, but its even harder with his family - His brother and his girlfriend (they have 5 kids) are crackheads...They blow money borrowed or sell stuff...Last night he came to borrow 8.00 and we didnt have 8.00 only a 20.00 - He begged and bug the hell out of my bf till he gave it up - Luckliy today when his brothers gf called to borrow 20-40, my boyfriend said NO. Its very hard for him cuz its family but he knows we have our life and bills to take care of. They dont work and live with her mom. They will run out of milk and use the money for drugs then cry abot milk and diapers. Which we have broght them to for the kids - not money cuz they wont use it right.
but recently his mom lost her place and moved in with us to save money and get her own place. We have held money for her to help her save but then she needs money and gets money back. She has no bills - other than helping us out which we dont ask for. Sha hasnt saved any money. 1 month

1ST off, dont lend to crackheads, thats just the same as putting the drug in their hands baecuse you are enabling them by giving them the $ for it. if you say no, what can he do? just dont give the $. As for the mom, give her a time limit that she must stick to. Tell her firmly, that no matter what, her time there is up on 0/0/2007 or whatever. you must stick to this and be firm or she wont take you seriously. This should motivate her to save and be responsible with her money. tell yuor bf his fam is affecting you 2 and it must stop.

Turn the crackheads in to Child Protective Services. They will investigate and find that they are in no position to be in custody of their kids and take them away. That frees up money that would have otherwise been allocated to bills pertinent to the kids and allows that money to help fund their eventual OD. No kids, no crackhead brother with crackhead g/f. No more borrowing of funds for crack. You and your b/f can get on with your lives and move on. Her mom can now save money and move out. Seems like a harsh alternative but I have no tolerance for junkies or people that do not want to help themselves. I have had a hard life myself but I have never turned to illegal substances to help me cope. Junkies are nothing but failures.

separate your self from these ppl,I have the same idiots in my family.I DO NOT associate with them,addicts hurt them self and other ppl,and as long as they never hit bottom they will never get clean.I use to baby my brother because he was an addict, 3 yrs ago i said enough is enough,he became homeless, lost his job,his wife left him(And they have 4 kids),he finally realized he had to grow up. He is now for the last 2 yrs been drug free,and is a very good dad and husband,and going to church and turned his life over to God.
AS far as the small children in these ppls life,someone needs to call child services and have these kids placed in a good home,at least until the parents get clean.And the mother in law,,,,any time you let someone move in,,give them a specific time to stay and make them pay for living there. YOU DIDN'T Marry him to raise and support his family.

I would of thought having a crackhead for a boyfriend would of been getting on your nerves im sure u can do better than that.
