The school year is halfway over and I'm out of ideas. My daughter has no Allergies but hates carrots and has eaten more apples than most orchards put out in a year. She is not guaranteed to be able to use a refridgerater for snack. She can not take any nuts or seeds to school as they are banned this includes things that only have a peanut free sign as most still contain other seeds or nuts.

My son starts preschool September 8th, and I was told that they provide breafast and lunch as well as a snack. I'm not sure where you live, or what the routine for the school is, but you can always call and ask so that you know for sure. If indeed you must provide food, something simple like cheese and crackers or something like that should be fine.

Yougurt tubes are great because they freeze well and are convient to eat. Keep them frozen and then by the time her lunch/snack time arrives in will be thawed enough to eat and still cold. Other ideas - salsa and tortilla chips, grapes, raisins, nut free granola bars. You have to get used to being inventive because you still have a lot of years left to make/help make lunches.

I bought a box of those individually wrapped salad dressings and send my son with veggies and dip. Broccoli, cauliflower. Maybe she would start eating carrots that way.

Other ideas: Grapes, bananas, pears, strawberries, kiwis, raisins, crackers and cheese, flavored rice cakes, bagel with cream cheese, chick peas, hard boiled egg, yogurt, fruit cups, apple sauce, half a sandwich, bean salad.

How about popocorn, that's always a nice snack for kids.
You can make her ants on a log:
You need to celery stick, spread some peanutbutter on it and put on top of that some raisins.

or

fruit kabobs.

Use a kabobstick, but instead of meat put al sorts of fruit on it.

Slices of banana are nice too, maybe mixed with seedless grapes.

Strawberries are always a good snack too.
