If I was dating someone for a few months and I found out how many partners they had, it wouldn't change the way I think about my relationship with them. The past is the past, and as long as they are loyal to you, then there should be no problem. There definately is a difference between how many partners a woman or a man had. Women are looked at as easy if they have had a large amount of partners, but for men, it is not. That is very unfortunate!

In the USA, the average woman has around 3,500 male partners throughout her sexual life. No! I don't think 10 is too much for a woman living in America. This number is far below average.
As for men, they have about the same rate as women do in America. But a very large percentage of American males are homosexual, so probably 2/3 of the partners are males, while only 1/3 are females.
Such promiscious relationships lead to the widespread of STD''s . They're very common in America and Europe.

I don't know where these judgmental number men come from but I haven't known women to be dumped over the number of sexual partners she's had in her past... I have never heard of a number for this and could care less about a persons sexual past, I think anyone who does this would either be a virgin or hasn't had over four- five sexual partners.. he must be young and not experienced to be judgmental in that way :) :) :)

I don't think there is a set # that is good or bad that applies to everyone -- within reason.
The best thing to do is to judge each person and case individually, and decide how you feel about it for yourself.
I know how much is too much for a potential partner for me. I dated someone in college who had been with about 25 or so women. I thought that was a lot, but I gave him a chance because I really cared for him. Later, he joined the Army and moved away -- and told me he at one point had been with over 100 girls. I told him I could never be with him after that.

I would say that would depend on each individual person. I wouldn't hold it against anyone whatever the number is. We've all done things in our lives that we don't like to admit to, but you have to move on and not badger yourself over it. If two people find each other and have actually found true love, what does it matter how many people they've been with when it's just going to be the two of them from then on?

I wouldnt really want to know the answer to that.If you like someone it really shouldnt matter as long as its not some insane number like 30 or something. To be honest I am at about 15, but really what can you expect when people start having sex at 15-16 by the time your 30 thats about 1 a year which i dont think is so awfull.

Its depends
If its a high number because of youthfullness
or its a high number because of lack of self control..
good luck dude..
It's normal to find out all the terrible things about the other person when your already waist deep into the relationship.

No such thing as too many. Hell, my wife did five guys in two days at a Renaissance Faire and ten guys in three months in Europe.

My guy has been with lots of chicks (10+), he's only the 3rd ive been with. (both early 20s) he is more of a "wild child" and gets out more. hes outgoing and very social with lots of friends, im the opposite. the #, depends on your lifestyle and your morals. as long as they are disease free and dont have kids all scattered around, i dont think a high # would scare me off, as long as while theyre with me, they are only with ME sexually.

I've never had that problem, I can HONESTLY say, My husband, before we were married was the only person I've slept with. Just remember as you sleep with someone, your giving apart of yourself away.
