If you have ever slept "wrong" and woke up unable to move your head/neck without pain, what do you call it and why? I've heard it called so many things....there has to be an origin.
My family says Crick; where I'm from thats where we go fishin'??

none of the above actually---it's called a KINK, because it suggests a deviation from a straight line, and when it's kinked, it pinches a nerve. These are called vertebral subluxations...it's a good idea to stretch your leg muscles often because they in turn stretch the muscles in your back, and prevents the kinks from happening so often. It's best to see a chiropractor tho.
