Hi there, I found the Kennel Club site a bit confusing (but then it's really late now so maybe I'm just tired) - however I did find some contact details for the Wiltshire Working Gundog Society - hope that they help you:
Wiltshire Working Gundog Club - FT Secretary Tom Sheppard
email tom@beanhill.ndo.co.uk
Plus this contact for them:

Good Question. I had the same problem with Agility, I was really interested in doing agility training for my dog. I found a place but it's no where close to where I live about 45 minutes-60 minutes away.
In order to get your dog started in Field Trials you can go on the Kennel Club UK site:
http://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/item/266
http://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/item/469/pg_dtl_art_news/pg_hdr_art/pg_ftr_art
And try to contact someone through there. The other optioni is to do a yahoo/google search and try to find some place in your area.
I did a search on yahoo for agility training or courses and went from there to find a place.
Good Luck.

google it.
ask at your local vets.
if you can wait that long - go to town and country shows in the summer where there will normally be a field trial show.
You could also try looking for events - see where they are meeting and go along and ask.
Good luck.

You need to start with basic obediance - www.obedianceuk.com has lists of obediance clubs all over england. The trainers at clubs may know of field trail trainers or else try to find a similar organisation for field trails.

We tend to think of dog training as a series of steps for teaching particular behaviors. To teach a dog to stay in a particular position, you reward her as she remains in place for gradually longer times, at gradually greater distances, with gradually increasing degrees of distraction. Now, this is fine, training does involve teaching dogs specific behaviors with a step-by-step approach. This week, though, I’m going to discuss three mental habits that will not only enable you train more effectively but also make life pleasant for both you and your dog.
