Yep its form of excema. It is agravated by stress, heat and moisture. Its not catching or anything. I get it too. You want some hydrocortizone cream for it. In the US you can buy 1% hydrocortizone in the drug stores bu in the UK you'll have to ask for something over the counter or get a prescription. Even non-prescription any-itch cream will help.

It comes and goes. Try to keep you skincool, away from water, but moisturized and get some sleep.

I'm not sure how long you have had this, but I think this sounds like an allergic reaction to something. Try taking some benadryl, put on some soft cotton clothes, and put ice on your hands 10 minutes off 10 minutes on. Take it easy, call in sick, if all else fails try to see a doctor tomorrow. Hope you feel better.

I would suspect an allergy, likely to food. Try keeping a food journal for a couple of weeks, see if it worsens within 24 hours of eating certain foods. I am allergic to wheat, soy and eggs. I used to get hives all of the time, now I dont as long as I stay away from allergens

Hi... I have the very same thing and it is a rare form of Psoriasis. I also have it on the soles of my feet. It's caused by stress and/or tiredness and you really have to go the doctors and get treatment. Good luck!
