As everyone else has said it really does depend.
I have one lurcher (greyhound/collie/lab) and one longdog (greyhound/saluki).

What mix does your puppy contain? Lurchers are beautiful dogs, loving and great fun to watch as they trot round a field but always keep an eye on them - they are after all bred to hunt and I have had to work hard to make sure I can call my dogs back off a hunt.

Good luck.

Depends on how big the parents were. If you're going to work the dog. 23" to the shoulder is a good height.

"There is no set size, so they can be as small as a Whippet or as large as a Deerhound; but most are chosen for a size similar to that of a Greyhound"
