Yes it does. I tried it last year and lost 9 pounds in three weeks. If you want to lose weight really fast then this is not for you. The goal is to lose weight gradually because that is the healthiest way and the way to keep it off. Basically there are two plans you can use. The core plan just has a list of things that you can eat from (but it is a very restrictive list mainly veggies). The flex plan is where you can eat whatever you want but you have to stay within a certain amount of points everyday. So you have to count what you eat. Its pretty easy really.

Yes it works and is probably the best weight loss program around. There are a couple different ways they lay out their plan, but used the point system. Depending on calories, fat and fiber content, food is assigned points. Your weight will determine the points per day. As you lose weight, you use less points. I never actually went to weight watchers, I used a spreadsheet calculator. The key to the program - lower fat and higher fiber. there are some higher fiber breads that register as zero points...

YES!!!!!!!!!!! Mostly, it's portion control; but you use "points" throughout the day. Every food has a value, and you're only allowed so many points per day (depending you your weight). You can eat anything, but you will find that in order to stay within your points you will need to eat healthier.

It works, and it is good for everyone because it teaches portion control and which foods are good for you. My mom is an instructor, and I went on after college and lost about 15 lbs (all I needed to lose) that I have never gained back.

yes it works, it's a program that is all about eating healthy and exercise and getting all the food groups in. it's based on a point system not counting calories. there is a fee but it is worth it. you can join on line or go to meetings. check their website for more information
