Acceleration would increase. The optimal condition is that for one revolution of the tire the vehicle will travel the circumference of the tire. This typically doesn't happen due to slippage that occurs during higher speeds. Slippage is reduced by the "stickiness" of the tire which increases the coefficient of friction between the tire and the pavement.

The only contact between the road and your vehicle are with your tires. Imagine if you will that there is no friction between the tires and the surface. Without the tiring "gripping" the road how would you accelerate the vehicle if the only means of acceleration is the created by "pushing" off the surface through the friction between the tire and the ground? You need to traction and traction is created by friction. Great traction will definitely enable your car to go faster.

It's analogous to a person trying to run on ice vs. a person trying to run on a track.

Not only would acceleration increase, so would fuel economy since you are transferring more power into the road with each unit of fuel.

Heat, reduced speed and wear would happen. Why this would happen is simple physics.Friction slows or stops due to pourus materials coming in contact with one another. The weaker material will wear and that will create heat.

(9.8 x 0.8) = 7.84N. accelerating stress. Acceleration = (f/m) = 7.8/a million, = -7.8m/sec^2. a) Distance to end = (v^2/2a) = fifty two metres. (9.8 x 0.25) = 2.45N. accelerating stress. Acceleration = (f/m) = 2.40 5/a million, = -2.45m/sec^2. V^2 = 2ad, = 254.8. b) Sqrt. 254.8 = 15.96m/sec. max.
