a trip?

as in.... a vacation trip where you went somewhere? maybe you just enjoyed yourself too much and are sad about the reality of your daily life. change something, do something new.

or as in... an acid trip? nice!! maybe you just came down really hard and the chemicals have melted your brain a bit. assuming you're not a frequent tripper, you'll come to and be okay.

Well, you did the first thing: asked for help. Now make the second decision and pay real attention to the answers you get, and develop an attitude that this is a problem that can kill you if you try to ignore it, or if you give into it out of emotional exhaustion.

I use capsules of St. John's Wart as my medication for this; it's readily available in most health food stores. I call it my "good faith effort to have a good attitude." Sometimes I say I prescribe it "at the first sign of approaching self-pity."

Yes you do need help. Professional help. Make an appointment with a therapist/counselor right away.

first of all crying is OK and sometimes it makes you feel better when you do cry. I think that there is something deep that is bothering you and opening up to the situation is the only way to get it resolved. good luck

Sounds like you need to talk to a therapist. They can help. See your doctor first, it may be covered by your insurance if he refers you to one.
