As long as they are both altered, yes. They most always get along very well together, usually better than 2 males or 2 females.(That has been my experience)

I have one of each and have for almost 9 years. They get along great and they're not even from the same litter.

I do, they are brother and sister. Just be aware that once they are old enough you should have them fixed...or you will have more cats!!!!

As long as one or both are "fixed" then yes. Males will spray if not fixed and females are prone to cancer if not fixed.
