No you don't need moisturizers at all wherever you live if you have a healthy skin. Unfortunately we make skin unhealthy by use of soaps, skin cleaners and countless other products that have harsh chemicals and ingredients which harm skin. The way to make skin healthy again is to stop using and use a mild tea tree face wash and a regime of massaging face with a nourishing tea tree skin oil. It's best to make the massage quite firm. Do this everyday. It's best a night and to sleep without removing oil(use an old towel to protect pillow). You will find it very effective and in about a week you will see a much healthier, vibrant shin. You will find you can discontinue using moisturizers or any other product. Treatment is also excellent for permanently ridding skin of other conditions. Spots dry skin, oily skin, large pores etc. will go away overtime if massage maintained. You can then keep up a less frequent massage for it to stay that way.
You can have a totally blemish free, flawless skin

It depends on the face care regimen that you are doing and what type of face you have.

I live in a humid country and have oily skin but with using a cleanser and a toner, I use a moisturizer afterwards because after cleansing, it might look clean for a moment but then it becomes oily. I find that using a moisturizer prevents that and it has improved the softness of my skin.

The oiliness after cleansing will happen, unless you have dry skin of course, which makes your skin dry and itchy, therefore really needing a moisturizer more.

If your skin feels hydrated, why put anything on it? Everything you put on your skin is absorbed into your cells. So if you don't need it, don't use it. Humid air isn't the only way to keep your skin moisturized - drinking plenty of water, and using gentle, pH balanced cleaners to keep your skin clean will help keep your skin from getting dried out.

I do, however, encourage the use of skin moisturizers that INCLUDE SPF PROTECTION to protect your skin from the harmful effects of UV Rays.
