Isaiah 53: 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

Mat.1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

Pig Wonder...Youa re correct and as yous ee here Muslims are not sure of whther or not Jesus was the Christ.. They are never sure when the Bible was corrupted...They believe int he prophets but not what they say....Their not sure if they should lke the people of the book or kill them....The fact is the Qu'ran agrees and disagrees wiht everything which means most Muslims have no idea wht they believe....Other than Jesus is not God and there is no trinity.

onewhosubmits...You and Muslims do realize that Moses was 1500 years before Christ and therefore more than 2000 years before your religion right? Have you ever compared the books of Moses to the Qu'ran?

French Canadian Muslim...The Jesus worshipped by Christians is the Jesus of prophesy foretold by the one true God. the Qu'ran is not in agreement with God and is not the word of God. Please read Isaiah 53 the prophesy of the coming Mesiah 1500 years before the birth of Christ. this is the scripture that Jesus fufilled. If your Isa is not this Jesus you are not following God and the prophets but a false prophet Muhammad.

FrenchCandian Muslim Your Qu'ran has been changed many times and contradicts itself repeatedly. Please message me and clear this up and I will easily prove this to you and all Muslims there are no answers as none will be able to answer this question.

Does it not occur to Muslims that they have no word of any prophet directly but the words of Muhammed? All that follow the true God have his word in scripture and through the prophets. Islam has not one truth but only that which comes form Muhammad. If a Muslims says Jesus said...They trutly men we have the word handed to us from Muhammad that says Jesus says.

Good luck getting a straight answer from them on this one.

They'll tell you that the Bible has been corrupted, and that you need to consult the Koran to find the truth, even though there's nothing like what you pasted in there.

Muslimes think the Koran corrects the Bible, but it only addresses a handful of issues which coincidentally agree with Arian Gnostic heresy which existed more than 200 years before Mohammad was born.

Islam is the ultimate heresy, and has been progressively setting the stage for WW3 since it's invention 1400 years ago.

Jesus (peace be upon him) was a great messenger of God. He taught his people to worship one God. He never claimed to be God himself, nor that God was his father (in a literal sense anyway).

Jesus (pbuh) was one of many messengers that God has sent to mankind to warn us (of the hell-fire) and to give the good news of Paradise. What Christians practice today is a great deviation from what Jesus (pbuh) taught. God sent us one last prophet, Muhammad (pbuh) to guide us to the straight way.

In reference to your addititional notes about Muslims, we are very certain in what we believe in. When I was a Catholic, I had no certainty about religion. As a Muslim, I have 100% faith in my religion, knowing that the Qur'an was never changed and it never will be, as Allah has protected it. I feel sorry for those that are lost, and am so grateful that Allah has guided me out of the darkness.

Jesus was not the Messiah. The Church found things that they could make look like it was true.

Muslims believe that Jesus was a Prophet. This is alot different than a messiah.

May the peace, blessings and mercy of God be upon you

May The All-Knowing, The-Wise, Creator increase our knowledge.

This should explain what you are looking for,

Delivering the Good News to Mary of Jesus' Birth

This Ayah contains the glad tidings the angels brought to Mary that she would give birth to a mighty son who will have a great future. God said,

((Remember) when the angels said: "O Mary! Verily, God gives you the glad tidings of a Word from Him,) a son who will come into existence with a word from God, `Be', and he was. This is the meaning of God's statement (about Yahya)

(Believing in the Word from God.) [3:39], according to the majority of the scholars.

(His name will be Al-Masih, Jesus, the son of Mary) and he will be known by this name in this life, especially by the believers. Jesus was called "Al-Masih'' (the Messiah) because when he touched (Mash) those afflicted with an illness, they would be healed by God's leave. God's statement,

(Jesus, the son of Mary) relates Jesus to his mother, because he did not have a father.

(Held in honor in this world and in the Hereafter, and will be one of those who are near to God.) meaning, he will be a leader and honored by God in this life, because of the Law that God will reveal to him, sending down the Scripture to him, along with the other bounties that God will grant him with. Jesus will be honored in the Hereafter and will intercede with God, by His leave, on behalf of some people, just as is the case with his brethren the mighty Messengers of God, peace be upon them all.

The Description of Jesus and the Miracles He Performed

God states that the good news brought to Mary about Jesus was even better because God would teach him,

(the Book and Al-Hikmah). It appears that the `Book' the Ayah mentioned here refers to writing. We explained the meaning of Al-Hikmah in the Tafsir of Surat Al-Baqarah.

(the Torah and the Gospel). The Torah is the Book that God sent down to Musa, son of `Imran, while the Gospel is what God sent down to Jesus, son of Mary, peace be upon them, and Jesus memorized both Books. God's statement,

(And will make him a Messenger to the Children of Israel) means, that God will send Jesus as a Messenger to the Children of Israel, proclaiming to them,

(I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, that I design for you out of clay, a figure like that of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by God's leave). These are the miracles that Jesus performed; he used to make the shape of a bird from clay and blow into it, and it became a bird by God's leave. God made this a miracle for Jesus to testify that He had sent him.

(And I heal him who is Akmah) meaning, `a person who was born blind,' which perfects this miracle and makes the challenge more daring.

(And the leper) which is a known disease,

(And I bring the dead to life by God's leave).

Many scholars stated that God sent every Prophet with a miracle suitable to his time. For instance, in the time of Musa, magic was the trade of the time, and magicians held a high position. So God sent Musa with a miracle that captured the eyes and bewildered every magician. When the magicians realized that Musa's miracle came from the Almighty, Most Great, they embraced Islam and became pious believers. As for Jesus, he was sent during a time when medicine and knowledge in physics were advancing. Jesus brought them the types of miracles that could not be performed, except by one sent by God. How can any physician bring life to clay, cure blindness and leprosy and bring back to life those entrapped in the grave Muhammad was sent during the time of eloquent people and proficient poets. He brought them a Book from God; if mankind and the Jinn tried to imitate ten chapters, or even one chapter of it, they will utterly fail in this task, even if they tried to do it by collective cooperation. This is because the Qur'an is the Word of God and is nothing like that of the creatures.

Jesus's statement,

(And I inform you of what you eat, and what you store in your houses) means, I tell you about what one of you has just eaten and what he is keeping in his house for tomorrow.

(Surely, therein), all these miracles,

(is a sign for you) testifying to the truth of what I was sent to you with,

(If you believe. And I have come confirming that which was before me of the Torah,) affirming the Torah and upholding it,

(and to make lawful to you part of what was forbidden to you.)

This part of the Ayah indicates that Jesus abrogated some of the Laws of the Torah and informed the Jews of the truth regarding some issues that they used to dispute about. In another Ayah;

(And in order to make clear to you some of the (points) in which you differ) [43:63].

Jesus said next,

(And I have come to you with a proof from your Lord.) "Containing affirmation and evidence to the truth of what I am conveying to you.''

(So have Taqwa of God and obey me. Truly, God is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him (Alone).) for I and you are equal in our servitude, submission and humbleness to Him,

(This is the straight path.)

Peace Be With You
