I"m doing a research project about multipul personality disorder/disassociatve identity disorder. Can someone help me with links to what a core alter/host alter are, how someone splits into alters, how they know or don't know about eachother, and cases about people with MPD/DID. I've tried Wikipedia, but I'm missing information.

Thanks.

a famous case about mpd was put into a book called Sybil. Don't remember the author/physchologist's name, but it should be easy to look up. THe book was made into a movie with Sally Field

I read a book by Sydney Sheldon it's called "tell me your dreams" where the girl has this problem. Check amazon and I think you can search inside the book, it has a lot of references about books and web sites on that topic. Good luck!
