I can save you years of frustration! It is likely hidradenitis supperativa, and it will take years for docs to figure it out. Mine started out just like yours-it took 11 years, many docs, universities, etc, and I figured it out MYSELF by researching online. The docs will perscribe antibiotics which dont work, creams that dont work, etc. Try googling it, There are many online resources including yahoo groups where you can get advice from those of us who have it. Feel free to email me for more info. I cleared mine up by learning I was allergic to wheat, eggs and soy, and when I eliminated them, it went away. I used to get them in the pubic area, groin, breasts and armpits. I went to hell and back before I figured it out. I hope this helps God Bless!

I even have had a number of pores and skin cancers bumped off so consistently instruct the physician those little crimson bumps.. Says that's generic yet did no longer have a attractiveness for it. wish this helps

i freaked out a few times and went to the doc for bumps. It was in grown hairs.
Get some anti bacterial soap. It will help prevent infection. that's what i was told to do
You can get an infected hair follicle with out shaving. Its in an area that has alot of bacteria, and the moisture help the bacteria grow.

if you dont trust your doc go get a second opinion.

Could easily be an ingrown hair. I'd trust them. Genital warts would be quite different.

If you shave there, it could simply be an in-grown hair.
I get them in the summer sometimes when it is swimsuit season and I trim and shave.

Your pap smear being normal is a good sign.
