It is, but it may not be health.

Rapid weight loss to such a severe degree would require you to adopt a very unhealthy, and possibly a dangerous diet and life-style.

Add to that fact the weight you lose will in all probability come right back once you stop whatever method you use to accomplish the loss.

The average figure I have heard consistently for healthy weight loss is 2 lbs per week.

Now if you start a program of healthy diet and moderate exercise, you might notice a rapid drop at the beginning. This will taper off and the weight loss will become more gradual, more healthy.

Try replacing all high-sugar drinks (soda, juice, etc.) with water, and add in a lite exercise program, such as, walking for 30 minutes or so, 4 to 5 times each week. When I did this, I lost 10 lbs in the first three weeks. After that period the weight loss slowed, but stayed consistent. I have increased the exercise as I have gotten into better shape.

I think three- five pounds a week is a healthy weight loss, so I think it's possible and will not hurt you. For the best advice, see your doctor. I'm not specialist, but I've been heavy all of my life and have tried almost everything.

The best way is to cut your calories both by intake and by exercise. The first couple of weeks are the roughest, but if you stick to it, then you'll have an easier time.

Look on line for a 'diabetics' diet. They come in 800, 1200, and 1500 calories a day. Depending on your current weight, activity level, health, and gender, pick which one is best. I think that a 1200 a day is a safe one.

And walk. Walk as much as you can. Do sit-ups, jumping jacks, dance, just get moving and good luck.

Don't listen to the nay sayers. YOU CAN DO IT!

That's do-able, but you're setting a VERY high goal.

Start small--don't hit for 45 pounds/3 months, try 5-10 pounds PER MONTH instead. The slower you go and the more you work at it, the easier it will be to KEEP off the weight.

Also look at WHY you want to lose the weight. Why 45 pounds? What will 45 pounds lighter do for you?

Possible ... and extremely dangerous. The systems of the human body are not equipped to handle losing 15 lbs a month safely. The cosmetic change is not worth the health risks.

I lost 280 pounds in one day! She packed her bags and left and I have never been happier. Okay, so thats not exactly what you wanted to hear (disturbing eh?) but figured you needed a smile.

And for the record - she did leave and I really have never been happier. Kudos and Cheers and may you get the actual answer you need.

I know you can lose 45 pounds in 3 months - I just don't know of any safe way in doing it.

I think if you work really hard you can lose 45 IBS in 3 months. I'm doing that well trying to lose more then that in 3 months. I've given up ice cream, cookies, cakes, chips, candy and pizza. I cut back on how much I eat and exercise. Don't do it unless you are extreamly overweight.

you're able to do something you ******* choose. 50 lbs in 3 months? Yeah. yet, in case you shed weight that quickly, you're in all danger going to benefit all of it lower back in one month after. you have have been given a glycerin concern in case you will possibly be able to desire to no longer shed weight for a protracted time, so so you might perhaps examine that out? My maximum suitable chum can't technique carbohydrates and sugar, meaning that all of it is going to her fat. consume lots of colourful nutrition, vegetables, end result, nuts, etc. for protein, tofu, almond milk is a ought to. For exercising ensure you do a mix of cardio (working), and middle/weights. the main necessary component. it is not a weight loss plan. that's a existence-form. in case you purely do a weight loss plan, and end once you're fit, you will benefit it lower back in a snap. you ought to be arranged to pass working thrice a week, and consume healthful to your existence until eventually you're 40 while no person cares the way you look.

Not healthily. If you have 3 months, you should probably only lose about 25lbs. 1-2lbs a week is healthy. eat right, drink water, no pop, and exercise 4x a week and weight train 2-3x a week. Muscle cuts down fat while inactive. good luck.

Obviously you have not watched tv much over the past few years. Since you dont enjoy tv that much, may I suggest walking to and from Subway for lunch and dinner the next 3 months? I have heard of this guy, Jarrod, that did this and it worked for him!

for you it would probably be very easy...it's only 4 pounds a week....stop drinking sodas(drink water) or eating anything with high fructose corn syrup in it...read the labels...eat lean proteins like chicken, fish(salmon, etc) lots of vegetables, salads and fresh fruit....and juices containing only the juice(like Tropicana, etc) eat only whole grain bread, cereals and pasta....and work out 7 days a week for 30-60 minutes a day...play things like basketball, rollerblading, swimming anything which takes your whole body to play or do...if you choose to lift weights just remember that muscle weighs more than fat so you may be losing fat but you are also building muscles
