Girls, would you drive to meet a guy somewhere for a date? Would you rather the guy pick you up?
Guys, would you pick a girl up for a date? Would you rather her met you out?
I prefer a guy picks me up on the first date....

No if you were nice enough to go out with me I would pick you up. You deserve that respect you are a lady and should be treated as one.

I would prefer to pick the woman up at her place, but considering how I barely know her at first, I would probably opt to meet her somewhere for the first date or two. Have a nice day!

OK this is an easy one. Men you must pick up your date and open the doors for her. That's always a plus. When she tells family and friends about you they will think you are a gentleman. As a woman I prefer for the man to pick me up. No driving for me but I always have money just in case something goes wrong. It's so nice for a guy to be polite and pick up his date.

I think the guy can pick up the girl the first time if its there first date and then the girl can pick him up for the second date they can take turns if they want to...

As a guy - I'd pick up the girl - chivalry and pampering never hurt.
There are exceptions - depending on the comfort level, the girl may feel better meeting somewhere public for our first date (so she can bail in her own time if need be).

For the first date- I'll meet him somewhere (that why you can make a quick escape if he starts talking about his pet fish, Arnold)
After that- he picks me up

I live in NYC. I don't have a car at present... but I live in Brooklyn and work in Manhattan... so yeah... I don't much need a car.
If the girl I'm going out with has a car, I'll leave it up to her to pick me up or tell me to meet her. Either way, no worries.
If we're both 'car-less', again... it's not hard to work out whether one of us will go to the other, and then out together... or just meet at the spot.

I see nothing wrong in meeting him somewhere, especially if he is someone you don't know that well. You might not want him to know where you live. Under normal circumstances though, I'd like him to pick me up at home.

On a first date, i guess guys are more excited and girls a bit nervous. Being excited makes them hurry up and be there to pick up the girl before time. Personallly i would love to wait on for my girl to pick her up and go where we had planned to...
