I think I can be fully in love with her and have sex with another woman without it impacting my feelings for my girlfriend.

Some people disagree with this, what do you think?

I wrote a blog dedicated to this topic to expand on my thoughts. If you are curious check out my profile for the link.

Thanks

It depends.

Would your girlfriend be hurt by knowing you had slept with another woman?

If the answer is, "yes", then sleeping with another woman certainly means you do *not* love your girlfriend - if you did, you wouldn't be so willing to hurt her.

If, however, your girlfriend is perfectly fine with it, then it certainly can be "just sex".

I think if you're fully in love with her, you'd respect her enough to be honest and not break her trust.

There is such a thing as an open relationship. There's also swinging.

Such alternative lifestyles present an honest way to have your cake and eat it too, and in this day and age a lot of people are open to these ideas.

No, It means you're a regular guy. All guys look at other women! We're dogs! I 've done it, will do it again if I had the chance!! Sex to a man is no big deal. A woman makes a big deal over it!! It's just Sex!!

It's a respect thing. Why bother having a girlfriend if you want to sleep around. It seems like you want your cake and to eat it too. Relationships do not work this way unless you in an open relationship and BOTH parties are okay with this.

No, you can love your girlfriend, but you just have the hornies for other women. Maybe they can satisfy you in ways that your girlfriend can't.

But be willing to let her do the same with other men. That's the only fair thing to do.

Trust issues? If you don't want or need a relationship to grow into something more than that leave her alone. She wants to have someone she can trust and is willing to go the extra distance. If you can not control your hormones then who can. Are you in love with her or in lust with her?

Me being a female, it would hurt me to my heart if my boyfriend cheated on me, and I would feel that he could not possibly love me, because if you did then you wouldn't cheat on me!! So if you are not satisfied by your girlfriend, and your girlfriend only, then just leave and let her find someone that will be satisfied.

If you want to sleep with other people you shouldnt be in a relationship, you sound immature and dont seem ready for a serious relationship do her a favour and tell her she should find someone better.

i dont think its possible. personally. i think that if you love someone, you should only want to be with them. nothing would make you want to hurt what the two of you have.

honestly, its how i found out i wasnt truely in love with my ex. i thought i was, we were together 5 years, but then i got drunk with a bunch of friends and i hooked up with one of them and i was like, wow, if i just did that and really dont care then i dont love him as much as i thought.

and in the end i found out i was right. i was just thinking i loved him, but i didnt. and i lost out on so much because of that, i went thru so much emotional and mental abuse for him, i changed schools because of him (i had gone to college across the country). but after sleeping with the friend i relized how wrong i was, not for cheating on him, but just lying to myself for years.

after that i told all my feelings to another friend and found out he was the guy that i really was in love with, and i've been with him ever since

YEP!

It means if you don't have the love for your girlfriend enough to stay the hell away from other women, you shouldn't have her at all.
