The worst thing... nothing really so bad has happened to me. I've had some illnesses, injuries and medical operations over the years. Relatives have died, pets have died, good friend have moved away. I'm an alcoholic and for many years suffered from acute depression and self-harm disorder. I once got mugged. I've been badly beaten up more than once. Each and every one of my romantic relationships has failed badly.
But that's just life. I think that overall I have been pretty lucky and that a lot of people have a worse time of things than me. I can walk and dance and sing, my sisters and parents are in good health and I have a lot of friends. Life is pretty good. So the worst thing... that sometimes I take this all for granted.

I lost my first child at the age of 18. I was 5 months pregnant. I had just graduated high school and had plans to be wed in 3 weeks when I started having stomach cramps. They tried to stop the labor but couldn't. I had a beautiful baby boy, but he was too small and fragile - 10 hours later - he closed his eyes and slept in peace.

Probably an ex of mine getting drunk and having mass orgies. We were together for several years, and when all was said and done, I found out that I had been cheated on countless times with dozens of men. It caused me to have an intense fear of alcohol.
Eventually, I hypnotized myself to help me overcome my fear of alcohol. I now have no fear of it, though I still won't drink any. lol
Oh, having a large wood plank land on my neck was pretty bad as well.

probably realizing that you are so far away all the way in England and that you're already married when I've just come to the conclusion that I am passionately in love with you.
It's been a tough morning for me.
I better get some coffee so I have something to drown my sorrows in.

My life partner passed away from cancer in 2000. He was receiving hospice care at home, and we knew he was relatively near death, but he died during the night, and I woke up next to his lifeless body.
