We still are evolving. We have never stopped evolving. It's just that it's such a really slow process that it's extremely hard to detect. But now for the first time ever because of advances in medicine, science, technology etc we are in control of our own evolution and we will be able expedite the process to become better humans

Evolution is a fact, viruses evolve all the time to combat the immune system, the fact that a virus reproduces at a FAR faster rate than us explains the disparity in evolutionary change. Evolution often occurs as need to gain an advantage over other species, as humans are easily the dominant species we haveno real need for evolution at present.

You are under the false impression on how evolution works. It is a gradual process; we never stopped evolving, and are evolving as a population every day. It is a theory AND it has substantial proof.
We have changed enormously over time.

Evolution does not occur gradually, but in short spurts of time when animals are faced with sudden, drastic changes in their environment. Natural selection kicks in when the going gets rough, not when survival is easy.
We will evolve again after a great catastrophe, when our technology cannot save us and we have to genetically adapt or die. Either that, or we will create a genetically superior Homo sapien with technology.

1. There is plenty of proof.
2. A "theory" does not mean a guess when used in the context of science.
You don't understand evolution. Read a book on it and inform yourself before making statements such as this.

I think that you may have slightly misunderstood evolution to be a process that occurs at set times. We are always evolving, over thousands and thousands of years. I am sorry but I dont fully understand your question. What missing link is this? Please may you rephrase that.

Evolution takes million of years. Humans and other animals evolve constantly but very, very slowly.

Well honey we are evolving! Humans' pinky toes are getting smaller and smaller because we wear shoes and can balance without it.

It is constantly happening. It is just such a slow process that we cannot see it. We will never be able to put our finger on it and say, ''There it is!''.
Does it matter how or where we came from? It is all from G-d.
