I just learned that evolution is real. It is really quite interesting. Some of the creationists have pretty good comebacks though. It is hard to not believe them. Can anyone give me some facts about evolution to tell the creationists?

Your question brings to mind one of my own. Evolution takes hundreds of thousands of years to complete one cycle of a species. Since the last extinction event (what ever caused it) there hasn't been time to bring the small mammals that did survive to evolve into the wide variety of mammals that inhabit the world today.. Is science contradicting it's self. Or, here is a thought , maybe the creation story has more validity than evolutionist want to give it? Jim

I am sorry to bust your bubble, but you have bought a lie. Darwin himself states that if it could be demonstrated over a long period of time that a complex organ could not be developed then his theory is not realistic. The more we delve into the structure of a single living cell and the more we discover that the complexity and individual function of the components within the cell itself could not ever happen by chance this refutes Darwins theory of evolution by Darwins own definition of evolution.

Darwin also stated that if the fossil record, also known as the geological record does not show the transition of evolution within a species then you can reject his theory. The fossil record does not support Darwins theory of evolution. In the 120 years since Darwin published his theory of evolution we have identified over 2.25 million fossil records and the evolving of a species has never ben found. For example a transition from a sea based life form to become a land based life form would take approximately 50,000 changes physiologically for this to happen over an extensive period of time. If this were true then why is there no evidence to support this theory of evolution. At the most we have ever been able to determine through the fossil record is 2 supposed evolutionary changes. Where are the other 49, 998 stages of the evolutionary process?

Since the two methods of verifying or rejecting Darwins theory, according to Darwin himself, actually refute Darwins theory how can you say that you have proof? The answer is that you do not and if you think that you do then you are accepting a lie for truth.

Wow, you have great faith.
To believe life came from non life was too hard for me. To believe some warm soup that came from...who knows where started life.
"Matter cannot be created or destroyed" by humans that is....goes against evolution. Which is a fundamental fact in science.
How many billions of years did it take for this soup to create itself? and where did it come from? And where are the translational fossils? And where did the element come from that stared this soup?
Too many questions and not enough answers.

Not sure how you can have learned that evolution is real. It's still called and referred to as the "theory of evolution". Theory means that it's not a proven fact.

Not denying the possibility of evolution, but keep in mind that ultimately it is still only a theory.

how did you find out that it is real? have you had a pet that evolved into something else or human? this is one of the many theories and i doubt that you found solid proof that it is real.

PS: if you found out that it is real would what require actual proof? what not use that same proof or evidence to tell the creationists? provide them with what you just found out to make you think that it is real.

The magnetic field is decreasing by 50% each 1500 years. If you project that back 9000 years the magnetic field is so strong that life would not have existed on earth at that time.

Garrett i bleieve that a man once had a hotdog, and it molded. So the guy looked at it and said hey look it changed. thus born evolution. i don't think its real and infact it still is a theory not matter what people think is politicaly correct. so enjoy your hotdog and please take creation into consideration

Christians don't discount evolution, however, I feel that we were created first by a loving God.

Please share what you have learned. I would be interested in hearing it.
