When I am a generous person that happens to be a Christian and never ask for anything in return....Why are there those that call us money grubbers?

For the same reason when I was in England & Scotland people were telling me that all americans were loud mouth tourists. That's all they had seen. Once they got to know me, the majority of them told me I had changed their mind about americans. I never set out to change their minds. I just lived as a loving Christian. People that are accusing Christians of being money grubbers have never really seen generous, loving and giving Christians in action. Be a witness to those you meet. You can change their minds one person at a time. Once they get to know that kind of Christian, it will stick in their mind everytime they hear someone call Christians money grubbers. If they come to know Christ through your testimony you've accomplised more that they will ever know.

Liberals call anyone who is not liberal a money grubber. To them, if you make more than 30,000 per year you are rich!!! That is why they enjoy taxing middle America so hard. They hope to destroy middle America and have a country with only two classes: the rich and the poor. No middle class. This way they can keep the poor in perpetual slavery with a "promise of change" that will never be fulfilled. With this they will achieve the true power they have always wanted.
It is a brilliant plan I must say. We must educate the American people and not let them fall into the liberal trap.

Unfortunately, what the world sees are all these charlatans on TV fleecing the flock and ignorant Christians supporting them in it. Most Christian TV shows are little more than half hour to one hour appeals for money. these people ask you to make yourself poor so that they can live lavish lives. Give, but give to God. People need to use discernment. When the majority of the money coming in is solely for operating expenses, they are not building the kingdom of God, they are building their own kingdom. The world accuses us of being money grubbers because the people they see most, who in their minds are representative, are indeed money grubbers. it is our own fault, it is not religious persecution. As Christians we blindly support these thieves and in doing so partake of their sins.
