I believe that we should always treat homosexual people with love and respect and compassion although we do not agree with their actions. You should read Christopher Wests book - "The Good News About Sex and Marriage"
Here is what the Catechism says -
2357 Homosexuality refers to relations between men or between women who experience an exclusive or predominant sexual attraction toward persons of the same sex. It has taken a great variety of forms through the centuries and in different cultures. Its psychological genesis remains largely unexplained. Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, tradition has always declared that "homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered." They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.

Read 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 .Don't you know that those who do wrong will have no share in the Kingdom of God? Don't fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, who are idol worshipers, adulterers, male prostitutes, homosexuals....none of these will have a share in the Kingdom of God.
All of Romans 1; 18-32 talk against sin full sexual relationships man with man, woman with woman.
God made man and when they were send out of the garden of Eden they were told to increase in number so marry and have children it is not natural for a man to have a child with a man !!! Read about marriage in Ephesians 5, 1 Peter 3, Mark 1 and all these pieces mentioned man and wife not man and man

This verse was from a letter from Paul to the church's and pertains to what a Christian woman should do. He was giving instructions to be modest in all things and not draw attention to oneself. He stops short of calling it a sin. On the other hand the Bible does say that homosexual behavior is an abomination against God.

It says lying with a man like a woman is an abomination.
Part of marriage is having sex. The function of sex is to procreate. Gays can't procreate. They can only whine and protest, and try to adopt children.
Homosexuality is an abberation. Being a homo isnt a sin, but having sex with someone who has the same genitalia as you is.
hehe look at all the thumbs down for people who gave a legitimate answer. Gays are so silly

1 Corinthians 6: 9 & 10 "What! Do you not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God's Kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God's Kingdom."
Romans 1: 26 & 27 "That is why God gave them up to disgraceful sexual appetites, for both their females changed the natural use of themselves into one contrary to nature, and likewise eventhe males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their lust toward on another, males with males, working what is obscene and receiving in themselves the full recompense, which was due for their error."
Leviticus 18: 22 "And you must not lie down with a male the same as you lie down with a woman. It is a detestable thing."
Genesis 19 Destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Several places speak of the immorality of homosexuality, but the most prominent place in my humble opinion is found in Romans Chapter 1.

it's the part near OTHER PARTS that christians ignore regularly...because they ignore things that would make their lives inconvenient if they followed them.
like 1Corinthians 14:34-35 -- telling women to shut up in church (another tenet they ignore) or all of jesus' against scriptural tenets forbidding divorce.
BUT WE HAVE TO ABIDE BY THE ANTI-GAY STUFF!!! it legitimizes their hate. nothing more. christians are the biggest hate-mongering hypocrites on the planet.
