China is bigger but the U.S would be considered the most powerful. The united states has military operation on every continent in hundreds of countries. The united states has the abilitry to oversee military operation from anywhere in the world. The unitedstates has the highest defense budget, money that is not included for the war in iraq and afganstan.thats ..more than the next 12 countries combined, ...while only using 3% of its GDP. United States is the leader in miltary technology. A large stock pile of nuclear weapons. There is concept that is underway in america called full spectrum dominance. Which they will be able to have dominance militarily on Land, Sea, Air, and Space. (sited)The United States has founded a strategic intent to be capable of achieving this state, either alone or with allies[1] by defeating any adversary and controlling any situation across the range of military operations.

I think china has the largest army,But i think the most powerful military is the United States in conventional warfare. Our combine armed forces is better train and equip then china, Our troop morale have the know -how to follow orders when none are present. our rank structure is comprise of leadership abilities that both officers and enlistment can exploit from each other to accomplish missions.
