In the USA you have the option to overthrow the government if you disagree with it. However if you do try to overthrow the government and do not succeed you will be tried for treason.

Is this akin to the freewill offered by God?

Religion offers you the option to agree or not agree but if you don't agree and are wrong you will be tried for treason.

Is the USA basically a tyranny where the strongest sets the rules? Is Heaven the same?

- No, not akin to free will. But free will is not offered by God, either. Totally different concepts.
- We do not have the option to agree or disagree, we lost the ability to choose God with the fall of Adam.
- I would hope that the USA would be strong enough to set some rules. I like to be on the winning side.
- God isn't competing for men's souls. Heaven is not the same as national interests.

Well I'm sure such an act would cause much more suffering so you should be punished for putting everyone through those terrible times. But we also put you to death, which is much more humane than putting you on life support so we can torture you every day from here until the end of time.

One cannot believe in God and 'God's Plan' and still believe in free will. The two concepts are mutually exclusive.

I have never actually found free will in the bible. I have read that god chooses who he chooses. Think about do we truely have free will or does God have sovereignty and we are following his will.
