I was smoking and drinking before of course, that was not good for your state of mind, but I just cannot believe how much better I feel after switching from processed foods and frozen dinners to eating rice, vegetables, fruit and lean meat and drinking plenty of water. I feel as if I have come out of a dirty nightmare that I was living in just 6 weeks ago. It is unbeleivable. I try to indian food as much as possible too. But I swear my thinking is soo much clearer and I have much more energy and I feel positive and happy, before I was worrying a lot and depressed and like I said before it was like I was in a bad dream , but now it is like being awake from a nightmare! Anybody else had this experience?

I saw on telly once they did an experiment with kids at a school. One group carried on as they were with their processed food etc and the other they educated the parents, made sure they only ate veg & meat & fish & pulses etc, and after about a week the kids who ate the veg had better concentration, exam results, were better behaved generally and looked healthier - all rosy cheeked and full of energy!
We stopped eating ALL processed food since my daughter was born and we all feel so much better and don't have half the medical problems that we used to, and look much healthier too not to mention all lost weight! It's great!

I noticed that when I joined the Army, I felt much better while I was in BCT than I have in my entire life. I think a combination of eating healthier and exercise is the best.
