You can get an official list in this free IRS book http://www.irs.gov/publications/p529/ar02.html
TurboTax this year also has the equivalent list built into their tax software and many do-it-yourself tax guides cover it in detail.
One worry is that the government makes the list skimpier each year and that many of them are only deductible after your list with them adds up to more than 2% of your income

IRS.gov.
Sometimes, Bankrate.com and Yahoo Money will publish tax tips that include deductions, but they're not complete, and they're not official. If the IRS web site or an IRS publication (all of which can be downloaded from their web site) says that it's deductible, it's deductible.

Go to IRS.com and search for deductible items, it should bring up a list...and you can also look at the Itemized schedule which can also be found on this website.

Your friendly neighborhood CPA will be glad to discuss what deductions are available to you, based on your own particular situation.
