The sabbath was given to israel in the old testament as a blessing to be a day of rest to worship god because they had just been in slavery. The Lords day is what the church celebrates on sunday and means the first day of the week. We are not under the law although there is nothing wrong with a sabbath day to rest it is good for man to take a day off to worship and rest. The book of Hebrews shows that Christ fulfilled the law and entered us into true rest or the true sabbath which means that when we are living in christ we are actually having the sabbath everyday.

"The Lords Day" that you read in the Bible is the last day of this earth age. The day Christ returns - that brings in a 1000 year period of disipline and teaching. That 1000 year period is called "The Lords Day".
About the Sabbath - the Sabbath was made for man, not God.
People being ignorant and greedy would rather work and make money than putting aside one day per week to go to church where they are supposed to be learning the Word of God -
though many churches don't even teach anything at their services.
When Christ came, he stated that He did not come to change one jot of the law of God. Statutes and ordiances change with society, but the Laws do not change, and never will.
Don't get caught up in this idea that the old test. is for Jews and the new test. for Christians. Thats utter nonsense. God intends for you to study and follow ALL of the Word, not just part of it.
And, since Christ Himself was the very first "christian" if you will, then you would hopefully be following His example. He studied the old test. and the prophets - teaching you to do the same.
Continually throughout the New test, credibility is given to the old testement writings, making it even a part of the new testement, in fact.
The Laws given in Scripture are for "whomsoever will" - meaning gentile, Jew, whatever you call yourself. All the children of God.
Paul taught the gentiles - and He never left out the Sabbath.
But keep in mind that the word sabbath means "rest". It is meant for a day to rest in the Word of God - to stop all other temporal concerns for a day to work on the spiritual side of us. The orthodox Jews had many sabbaths - they had a weekly sabbath, and also a daily sabbath, and then they had high sabbaths which were Holy Days.
But if you look beyond the opinions of man on how and when to have the sabbath day, you will find the what is important to God is that you set time aside for knowledge of your God, and of His Word, so that you know what HE has to say, instead of listening to man. Thats whats important, and if you do this, I'm quite sure that God won't really care if its Sunday, Wednesday or Saturday.

The Sabbath is, was, and will always be Saturday. Man is responsible for the change of the day not God. It was created about 1500 yrs. before there was a jew, Abraham was the first Hebrew. Why is it the only commandment in which we are explicitly told to "Remember"? Ex.20:10 the Sabbath is a day unto the Lord, hence the Sabbath is the Lords day.

"Do NOT think that I have come to ABOLISH the Law or the Prophets; I have NOT come to abolish them but to fulfill them. Matt 5
The Sabbath (Saturday) is still a day The Lord requires His followers to gather to worship Him.
I will go through all of your topics
1)The Sabbath is part of the Old Covenant
When was the Old covenant created?
At Sinai
When was the Sabbath created?
In the garden of Eden more than 2000 years before there was a Jew let alone an Old covenant WITH the jews. (Genesis2:1-3)
2)The Lord's Day
What Day is the Lord's day?
Not Sunday. There is no verse in the Bible that ever calls Sunday the Lord's Day. There are only two days called the Lord's day in the Bible The Sabbath and the the Second coming
Exodus 20:8
Isa 58:13,14
Matthew 12:8
Mark 2:28
Luke 6:5
Provide ONE verse that calls Sunday the Lord's Day.
3)Resurrection and Pentecost
Where in the Bible does it say that because Jesus rose on Sunday or because of Pentecost?
No where, the Bible says that Baptism is the symbol for the death and resurrection of Jesus
Colossians 2:12
Romans 6:3-4
Galatians 3:27
4) Its only for the Jews
The Sabbath was given to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden 1000 yrs before the first JEW was born Genesis 2:1-3 if they were Jews we all are Jews and STILL need to keep the Sabbath
The early church changed. The Sabbath was created before there was Jew or Gentile.
The Gentiles went to Church on Sabbath
Acts 13:42
Acts 17:1-4
Acts 18
5)The Sabbath was not restated in the New Testament
This is incorrect
a)Jesus expected His followers would be keeping the Sabbath at the time of the end "Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath" ((Matthew 24:20).
b)"There remains therefore a rest for the people of God" (Hebrews 4:9) The word used for rest is the Greek word Sabbatismos which mean a "keeping of the Sabbath."
c) In Heaven we will keep the Sabbath "For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.(Isa 66:22,23)
The Sabbath is restated in the New Testament, Even if it was not, why would God need to restate something that is written in stone.
What is a Christian?
A follower of Christ, and Jesus kept the Sabbath
Matt 12:9-11
Mark 1:21
Mark 3:1-3
Mark 6:2
Luke 4:16
Luke 4:30-32
Luke 6:6
Luke 13:10
Never once does Jesus say "You don't have to worry about the commandmnets"
The early church and apostles kept the Sabbath
Acts 13:14
Acts 13:42
Acts 13:44
Acts 16:13
Acts 17:2
Acts 18:4
Was it important that Jesus created the New covenant on Thursday?
Then why is the New covenant day of worship not Thursday?
Was it important that Jesus died for our sins on Friday?
Then why is the new day of worship not Friday? The Day that Jesus gave His body and Blood up for us according to the Covenant "This is my body which is given up for you..."
6)People brought their tithes and offerings on the first day of the week
You are talking about I Cor 16:2
Where in This verse does it say that it was tithe
Where does this verse say that the Sabbath is done away with?
Where does this verse say that Sunday is the new day of worship?
Where does this verse say that they even MET on Sunday?
This verse says nothing about worship. What it is talking about is collecting money to distribute to help those in the famine in Jerusalem (vs. 3) Acts 11:28
If we look at Acts 18 Paul went to Corinth to build the Church
Acts 18:4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.
Acts 18:11 And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.
That is 72 Sabbaths in Corinth Greece(Gentiles)
Does God expect Gentiles to keep the Sabbath
Yes
"Also the sons of the STRANGER(NOT jews, Gentiles), that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that KEEPETH THE SABBATH from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant; Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
Isaiah 56:4-7
Revelation 14 says that 3 messages go out to the world right before the end comes. The first message says worship the creator and then it quotes the 4th commandment.
God is calling his people to return to the commandments and worship Him as He has described. He wants His people to leave man made traditions and come back to His word.
Is there any verse in the Bible where anyone says "Worship on Sunday"?
If so please provide the verse.

The Sabbath was created for man...not man for the sabbath.
We are set free from the OT laws about the sabbath. You see, God made all these rules for our benefit. He said to work 6 days and on the 7th day -- rest.
And I don't mean to be a couch potato. I mean, on the 7th day, which is your sabbath (be it Sunday, Wednesday or any other day -- depending on your work schedule) you need to rest, do something you enjoy, spend time with the Lord, spend time with friends, go on a bike ride.....anything that you do NOT CONSIDER AS WORK.
God created the sabbath for man, so we wouldn't suffer burn out. Even the animals suffer burn out after working for more than 6 days, and there has been research to prove it.
Pick any day of the week for your Sabbath. There's no rules there. My pastor's sabbath is Monday. Mine is Saturday, and my church has a Saturday evening service. (we call it "Saturday Night Live.")
Saturday morning, I stay in my jammies, relax, read, and visit friends. Sunday, I clean and get ready for the coming week.

I'm a Christian and I do rest on the sabath ann by sabath I mean Saturday. Why? well in school and on the catholic Bible the 7th day is Saturday. Second God was very specific and Jesus rest on the sabath (as in doing good deeds to other and talking about God not sleeping the day away). Even when they crucify him he resurrected on sunday not in sabath. And Revelation it say that there are going to change the law. As in the sabath, the foir commament. If you read it careful you will notice it is the only one that say remember, as in you will forget it but God will remind you of it. The important thing if you want to follow God will by heart you will understand an obey his law not because it will save you but because you love him.

The Messiah (YAHOSHUA) arose very shortly after dark on what we call Saturday night. According to Hebrew calculations that is the first day of the week, but the day that He (The Savior) set aside is still the Seventh day,. and Hebrews 4 makes that more clear. Who changed the day? do your homework, or check your Catechism. The Pope did! We are called to be YAHUDIM (worshipers of YHVH) See Rev. 2:9 and Rev 3:9! I don't expect you to listen to me, but if you choose not to listen to Scripture, but choose to be mislead by churchianity, then there is no provision for your salvation, sorry!

Sabbath become good for the most section. It become effective because a family members that i'm close to to become baptized on the prompt. actual 2 were re-baptized and their daughter become baptized for the first time. It become effective to work out record even though it become person-friendly to work out pastor. i do not imagine he's conscious what to assert to the letter I wrote him about my gay daughter. He made a remark that he would like her to change into associates with a lady he's conscious it particularly is about her age and that i informed him it will be perfect if our households met and had a social holiday truly than forcing a pal on her. i become disillusioned with my daughter because she reported she would bypass to church at the same time as record requested her and then this morning she subsidized out of it. i did not experience like wearing her to the vehicle so because she lied, I have informed her no social outings and no computing gadget for a week. ( i'm disillusioned that she lied, no longer that she did not bypass) evidently she hates me for this yet she is conscious i do no longer abide mendacity so she truly must have envisioned it. She has been performing some manipulating lately and we want to placed our foot down with her. We enable her have a pal spend the nighttime very last nighttime because she reported the pal would bypass to church with us and at the same time as my daughter refused to bypass interior the morning, we took her pal homestead. Even in spite of everything that, it turned right into a effective climate day and that i have been given a effective nap after church. :-) satisfied to take heed to that you had a effective Sabbath.

Keeping the Sabbath (seventh day) holy is one of the ten commandments, and thus it only applies to Jews.

To worship or attend church is not something that has to be done on any particular day of the week.
Christians just choose to use Sunday for church because the Lord was resurrected on Sunday that is all.
