Are there any rules or guidelines on basin height? I'm fitting out a new ensuite room and using a half pedistal under the sink.
Is there a max height? or can i just go with what looks right and comfortable?

I re-did my bathroom last year and had them put in the counter/basin at what they call back saver height. That is similar to the kitchen counter height. I love it since I don't have to bend way over to wash, etc. I am 5'6". I also put in a toilet that is at back saver height which is about 4" higher than a regular toilet. Love it!
