Think about it like,
2000 odd years ago, aliens could have artificially inseminated the virgin mary,
The bright night star (or spaceship?) guided the wise men,
and back then they could of easily believed it was divine activity,
Angels descending, music been played from the skys, the list goes on.

Its possible i say!

You're not Chris de Burgh by any chance? he did a song called something like "A spaceman came travelling..." and detailed just what you suggest. It sometimes comes on at Christmas... funny that!

I gave a speech on this subject for a Communications class a few years ago. I used the artificial insemination of Mary, the spaceship guiding the wise men, "God" referring to himself in the plural, and the "pillar of flame" as a spacecraft using its gravity beams to part the Red Sea. Any of the miracles can be explained by sufficiently advanced technology. Jesus was "resurrected" by alien medicine, and "ascended into Heaven" on the transporter beams of his father's spacecraft.

The music from the sky is a good one. I never thought of that.

The Old Testament, when you read it with science fiction on the brain, reads exactly like a story about extraterrestrials enslaving the Earth.

All things are possible to God but the way you are thinking unlikely Jesus Christ was alien to all those in power and in authority because he new men and what was in man.people who are privilege educated rich or have power over others do what ever they can to hang on to it and any one who gets in the way better look out because they will lie cheat kill to hang on to what the have under the influence of the father of lies.Jesus would have been an alien and a trouble maker that why he was put to death on a cross and did it willingly for the whole world in obedience to his father God the great I AM.so we all get a chance to go and be with him in heaven free from our sins.

Heaven's Gate.

They thought Jesus was an alien. Then they all killed themselves.
It would take a lot of explanation when it comes to things like raising people from the dead, walking on water, and the fact that in virtually every story about aliens, people claim that they are not interested in us as much as our technology. I have heard the argument before, but it is one that has just been kind of thrown together.

The biggest problem, probably, is why in the heck would aliens want us to believe that one of them is God?
There are people who say that Jesus never claimed he was God, and to those people, I just point to the gospels. He made the claim to be God over and over again, from his own lips. What use would that be to an alien? Cause people to believe they were God when it would be thousands of years and most likely past the lifespan of as many of them as us before it would really come to fruition?

What Sho-Nuff said. The asteroid belt is his exploded Krypton.

Just google "ancient UFO art" and you'll pull up some paintings with all sorts of UFO's in them. I like this one:

Jhn 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

I hope not. Considering I'm not an alien and I thought that the Father and His Son - Man (in general) were one and the same.

definitely not possible. like angels would have sang about an alien. besides, think of all the other things that jesus did. if he was an alien he probably would have preached about other worlds.

Interesting theory (suggested before, many times)
Does not tie in, however, with what Jesus claimed.
Certainly His ways were alien to our selfish nature!!
