As i already said in some questions. I was just diagnose with scoliosis lumber, spondylolisthesis, and something else in my pelvic. I am used to doing exercise 3-4 X's a wk. Now that i have these conditions i only do exercise for my glutes and legs. I stoped anything that makes me bend ect. Cuz i dont want to hurt my back. I start therapy on 2-1-07. But i want to know if doing abdominals is ok?

Strengthening your abdomen is the best support for your back, unless you have a posterior pelvic tilt.

I have been diagnosed with Level 4 Spondylolisthesis about a year ago, and my physiotherapist has instructed me to exercise for 20 mins+ everyday. I do abdominal/core/hamstring exercises daily. (As long as I do not arch my back.)

The abdominal muscles strengthen your spine,
so yes, you should continue to exercise!

Be careful, ask your therapist and she can show you and/or give you a sheet where the exercises are pictured and what is right for you.
