No we don't. Contrary to what many may think, i truly believe that with the right budgeting women could stay home. Alot of people who rely on 2 incomes do so because they are living "beyond their means"
If we didn't always try to "keep up with the jone's" we'd find that 1 income might suffice.

A mother's place is in the home. Many of the problems with children today are because of the lack of quality time spent with parents. Many children who have a stay-at-home mom end up doing better in school. Most of the children with behavior problems and disorders at least in public school are from split families or parents who both work all of the time.Check websites out on this. The research is proven and out there. Is this the case for all? Of course not. Does this mean that a mom who chooses to work is bad? Of course not. I do believe that each family needs to weigh the pros and the cons and make the best decision for their own family. For those who say that stay at home moms are lazy, give it up. There may be some out there who do sit down and watch soaps all day, but there are others who do not. Society would be much better in the future if there were less working moms. Most children need a mother at home during the early part of their childhood. They can learn better values and disciplines being at home with their mothers than at daycares all day picking up on the bad habits of other children. Will this happen in the future? Probably not. There probably wil be more moms not less moms working in the future. That is just the direction that our society is moving towards.

That is so not the case!!! Many working moms still feed their kids square meals without depending on the nieghbors! Whats wrong with dad fixing a square meal as well. Also many moms did not start working for the reason you stated. Many women have career goals and should not have to give it all up. No one ever asks men to give up their goals when they have kids. Equality has been fought for and still needs to be fought for...lets not send us back to the 50's.

Yes, sad necessity, but solutions need to be managed. Servants are NOT the answer for various reasons.
Irony is you need money to survive when you are young, it was scarce. When you are middle aged, its better off for most, but this available money would have been better spent by the younger earner.
Things have changed in the past 6 months, now youngsters earn Rs 25,000 a month starting with just a degree, decent manners and English.

I think womans lib ruined everything for woman and families. Now it does take 2 working to run a household if you want things ie. new cars new house. I was a stay at home mom and we didnt have new cars. But my children are happy and healthy and appreciate me always being there for them. They are grown now with children of their own and tell me I did a good job. It was all worth it. Now I have a new car and nice things. And wonderful close family ties.

I think in todays society, you need one parent home with children..As you can see what is happening to our kids. As for the comment about being lazy, I would like to ask that guy to stay home and take care of kids, its not a easy job..and who has time to watch soaps and eat bon bons..Please.. I used to work and take care of kids, very stressful..I now am a full time student and take care of 3 boys under the age of 6..But I think its important to have someone, either the father or mother home when the kids get home from school. Thats when kids get into trouble with to much time on their hands..I didn't have kids to have someone else raise them..Like a daycare..

i would prefer a mom being home with her kids, but as of today things arent easy for a daily meal and upbringing of the family mom's need to work. but at the same time mom's who arent working in the wealthy society too dont have time for their families.

my mom was a stay at home mom and so was my boyfriends....we decided that it would be best for me to stay home when it is time for us to start a family. i think that women should work if they want to or stay home wsith the kids if they want to....it depends on the person really. but i DO think that more parents are spending less time with their children...more time at work or running businesses or whatever....parents should be parents....help your children out with homework, read them a bedtime story, don't sit them in front of a tv and expect the children to learn everything they need to make it as a good, stable person in the world.as long as you can balance both and be happy, i say go for it.

Unfortunately Most women have to work now adays to help pay for the Bills, everything cost so much and I am sure your Mom wants the best for you. Most women do not mind helping each other out in these situations.

on the weekends cook enough for the week and put in tupper ware dishes, I don't think the man should be the only one working in the relationship. women want equal rights well they should work just as hard as the man.
Are you crying about missing your favorite soaps or worried about breaking a nail? come on get off your fat bon bon *** and get a job
