Depends what your dog likes best. You should switch foods off and on anyways. Imagine being fed the exact same food your entire life with no variation. Dogs need a change too!

When my border collie was younger she used to run so much that I had trouble keeping weight on her. I put her on the high energy eukanuba food, and it kept weight on her better than anything else on much less food. I have heard some bad things about eukanuba, but they must be doing something right, since it did that much. However, I prefer the RAW diet. My dogs are all currently half on that, only because I can't afford to switch them completely.

Both are similar, it is worth mentioning here that no dog should be fed on a whole dry food diet, as this encourages the likelihood of struvites and bladder stones, I would suggest giving two days dry feed and three days wet feed including a BARF diet, then two days with a light vegetable , fruit and grain diet. This way all the dogs needs are being met correctly and keeping the nutrient level very similar to what it would be naturally.

In larger breed dogs it is more important to give the correct food at the right age as their bones are developing and they need to set correctly according to the dogs eventual size and weight. In lighter breeds this is not as important as there is not the pressure on the developing bones. At 7 months your JR is the perfect age to start eating adult formula food, although Bakers is not what I would feed by choice. However it is your choice and there are many dog food companies that all claim their product is best for your dog. I personally feed my dog a diet I have absolute control over, I do actually cook my dogs meals as that way I know exactly what she is getting and in the correct ratio. Whatever you do, have fun.

Not Eukanuba they use meal and bi product now so it was more affordable to the "general" public. If price is no big issue find some SolidGold Wolf cub, TimberWolf cub, or EaglePack puppy. If price is an issue either PurinaOne or ProPlan. And remember it may be more expensive up front but the ingredients are better so you feed less

I only feed my Bichon Puppy on James Wellbeloved. Some dogs can have an intolerance to Pork, Beef & Wheat and this brand is natural ingredients without the above named items. They do a range of treats as well and since feeding this as a complete diet, my puppy is better behaved, less itchy and has no staining from artifical colouring on her face

Oh hi big boy!!
Today I readed artile: Get The Facts About Pet Food - http://www.askedweb.com/askedweb/Get_The_Facts_About_Pet_Food/
and Iam afraid, dry food has never been viewed as a healthy option. Sadly, many major pet food conglomerates claim that a "dry food" diet of kibble and canned products, should form the only source of nutrition for our pets. But facts.......

I personally don't like either of those brands..and actually neither do my dogs. I only use Nutro, and my dogs love it. That's all they will eat.
And DO NOT change their food on them every couple of months. It can upset their stomachs, and cause problems with diarrhea. My dogs have been on Nutro for over two years and they don't sick of it.
