as for the question someone asked about why a fence is a fence it has its origins in the history of language. the sky is blue because of the way sunlight is effected when it passes through the water vapor in the atmosphere and as there ist as much sunlight at night it turns black to match the background colour of space, before anywone says there isnt any sunlight at night then how do you think we see the moon at night? its because sunlight reflects off of it thereby allowingus to see it.
