Does anyone know the name of the catholic prayer said at meal time or the prayer its self thank you?

It's called "grace"

It's an informal prayer, in that there is no specific words or phrases to follow. It's basically a prayer of thanks for the food that makes up the meal.

You can make it up as you go, saying a slightly different prayer each time. There are many popular pre-written grace prayers as well.

Whether you decide to go with one of those or make up your own - it's all good.
