105 is NOT too thin. I am 5'4 and weigh 105, and it's a good weight for me.
Anyway, the best diet is small, healthy meals throughout the day and a lot of exercise. It's the easiest to stick to as well.

The link has worked and been taught for years, even before it was a link. Read and learn. When you calculate your Calorie intake you can adjust this down for a weight loss. Just do not starve your body. I think my calorie intake is around 2200, but, I usually eat around 1500-1800 per day and stay OK. I think the bottom line for a person is 1200 calories, and that not much. If, you not eat enough your body will store fat.
Just remember; if you want 1600 calories a day, spread out into small meals. McD's can give that many calories in a Big Snack! This NOT how you want to obtain your calories. Eat the foods your body really need to get those calories. This will also provide most vitamins you need. Try to be active, find some Hobbies or Activities that help you tone up. I have a Riding Lawnmower and in the summer I use a Push Mower for my front yard and the rider in the back. Once a week on the push mower and that 1 out of 3 days a week I exercise, done.

I'm eating a low-sodium, low-fat vegan diet to lose weight, and it's helped a lot! It's called the Rice Diet, and there are two current books out on it, The Rice Diet Solution, and The Rice Diet Solution Cookbook (just out with some great recipes!). I've lost 60 lbs so far eating this way. I still have a lot to lose, but I'm sure I'll get to my goal weight.
By the way, I'm also exercising daily, and would suggest finding an exercise you like to do, and sticking with it.
Check out the Rice Diet website below. There's a great forum on there, with good support and ideas.

I have tried every diet pill and diet out there. The best one I have been on is Weight Watchers. I went from 194, after having 3 children, to 135. I have been between 135 and 145 for 2 years now. I do have my days, but as long as you get right back on after a day off you'll do great. I do the WW at home. Good Luck.

Diet...should be calorie intake of 1200 a day. Stay away from high fat, high carbs. Stick to lean protein, veggies, and fruit. Try Akin's I heard really works. You have to go to the gym six days a week....cardio for an hour and switch it up and weight training too. You have to be consistent with you over all diet and exercising.....good luck...its hard but once you start it...you can only go up hill from there!!!

105 is too thin for anyone who is taller than 4'10. Check the chart here to get a better idea of what you should really weigh based on your height.
