They don't just pick a child at random for the most part, they stalk them like a lion stalks it's prey. They seek out the weakest, most vulnerable and they wait for the perfect opportunity to strike. Sounds like a predator to me.

Molesting doesn't necessarily indicate that the molester has gone "hunting" for a victim. The molester might simply take advantage of a situation in which he finds himself. A predator, on the other hand, deliberately seeks out someone who is vulnerable to victimize. It is the "hunt" that makes him a predator.

In it's loosest sense, a predator is something that attacks another animal, usually weaker than itself. It could apply to child molesters, but they aren't the same thing.

In homosexual relationships both parties are consensual. In child molestation, the victims are not physically strong enough to prevent the attack, nor mentally mature enough to give consent. Big difference.

They are the same things. Predators usually seek out their prey and that is exactly what those filthy people do who molest children.

not all molesters are predators. There is a legal distinction. Just as in the animal kingdom there is a distinction between carnivores: Predators and scavengers.

Predators are ones who ''go after something''. It is usually referring to an animal that kills other animal for food. Tho, it can refer to people, too, who go after others.

A predator does not necessarily have to molest what they catch.
