Just because they are men? Do they not realize that we have certain attractions and such just like everyone else. I hate the sterotype that Gay men want to sleep with any man. I hav ehad some men say to me "Just as long as you know I'm straight." These were people I wouldn't have even looked twice at because they were not my type or just flat ugly in my opinion. Seem's like the one's that worry the most have something they're afraid of.

They're ignorant and they've never had any gay friends.

You say that you've had men say to you "as long as you know I'm straight."

Perhaps they've had gay men come on to them before, and that's why they said that.

You gays throw the word "fear" around a lot, to describe people who disagree with your lifestyle or who aren't into it.

Why do you gays so often employ such rhetoric? Why do you constantly portray anyone who doesn't buy into the gay lifestyle as having a 'fear"?

Portraying people with whom you disagree as having a "fear" is a clever attempt to squelch debate about homosexuality. Portraying your debate adversaries as having an irrational fear is no way to discuss any issue.

I'd say a lot of straight guys are insecure in that way. I don't think being religious is pertinent to the issue here.

It's not an uncommon thing in general.

I've come out to people as polyamorous, and they immediately assume I want to sleep with their spouse.

I've come out as Bi to gay guys and they assume I want to sleep with anything that moves. Or worse, assume I am gay and can't come to terms with it. They just can't understand I like both genders and find both very attractive.

This just isn't that uncommon, nor is it restricted to straight or religious people.

Men in general seen to find two women together more appealing than two men. Occasionally some one comes here to brag about their wife being bisexual. They are happy right up until their wife leaves them for another woman.

Talk means nothing. My experiences with gay men is that when I am not offended by them, they try to convince me I'm gay too.
And few of the gay men who's sexuality I have respected , respect my sexual inclination to not be gay. As I am asexual,
rarely acting on the impulse.

I'd be afraid to have sex with a gay man. And I really don't think 'relgious' men fear gay men having "congress" with them. If they're truly God-fearing and the Word is within them, trust me babe, IT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN!

Even if you did why should that scare me. You wouldn't be allowed and if you did try by force there would be a terrible ruckus... I agree that some men are just plain ugly.. I think it's the ones with that XY chromosome.... Jim

Maybe they're thinking of the time all those gay men congregated around Lot's house, demanding that he send his guests out so they could rape them.

No fear at all....why are you afraid of Christians and God....could it be because....

"... the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who withhold the truth in unrighteousness.... because when they knew God they glorified Him not as God,.... Professing themselves to wise, they became fools, ..... Wherefore God gave them up to uncleaness...to dishonor their bodies among themselves...Who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worship and served the creature more than the Creator... FOR THIS CAUSE God gave them up to vile affections....and likewise the men also, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men with men,... receiving in themselves THE JUST RECOMPENSE FOR THEIR ERROR,... God gave then over to a reprobate mind,.... filled with all unrighteousness, ...full of envy, murder, deceit,....haters of God,...proud,...without understanding,...who, KNOWING THE JUDGMENT OF GOD, that they which commit such things ARE WORTHY OF (ETERNAL) DEATH..." (Romans 1: 18-32)

Not a pretty picture for the sodomites.

Well if gay men are so fussy how come some of the gays who spread aids had many thousands of sexual partners?
